Start Search is a browser hijacker that may compromise a Web browser and alter the custom browser parameters on a PC. Start Search may result in undesired browser diversions to Start-search.com. Start-search.com is a suspicious search provider. Once Start Search is installed on the PC, it may aim to make a computer user visit sponsored websites via modified search results in any major search service and create and display disturbing pop-up advertisements. Start Search may strive to help its authors gain benefit from clicks on advertisements and increased web traffic. Start Search may circulate and install itself onto the computer as an optional application bundled with free programs.
