EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:

Spublicate.xyz is a hoax website that exists for the sole purpose of tricking visitors into unknowingly subscribing to its push notifications. This particular scheme has been perpetuated through countless virtually identical dubious websites. The general pattern is to show users clickbait and misleading messages urging them to press the displayed 'Allow' button without clearly stating what the consequences would be.
For example, the most widely used scenario sees the con website pretending to be doing a legitimate CAPTCHA check. However, to prove that they are not robots, users are told to press the 'Allow' button. Another fake scenario includes the display of a video window accompanied by a claim that users will gain access to the content only upon clicking 'Allow.' What these pages, and Spublcate.xyz, in particular, do not reveal, is that users who follow the instructions would be enabling the site's push notifications.
Spublicate.xyz will abuse its newly-received browser permissions to run an intrusive ad campaign. Users will experience a significant increase in the advertisements encountered while browsing or shown as notifications. More importantly, the advertisements associated with such deceptive sources are likely to employ similar underhanded tactics to get users to engage with them. Furthermore, the advertisements may be promoting suspicious phishing tactics, fake giveaways, shady adult-oriented platforms, etc. Users also may be presented with offers for seemingly convenient software products that turn out to be little more than PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) hiding invasive browser hijacker, adware or data-tracking capabilities.
