The Speed Optimizer Guru system optimization utility by SurfProtect.co is boastfully self-proclaimed as the world's #1 program in its niche. The Speed Optimizer Guru program can be downloaded from its official website and seen promoted on freeware packages and low-quality software platforms. Keep in mind that the Speed Optimizer Guru application is often accompanied by ad-supported programs, namely: Arcade Yum, PlusVid and Reimage. The Speed Optimizer Guru program is recognized as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) that will not perform as promised, and you may face issues with your file system, Windows Registry and boot-loader, which are essential for the stability of your computer. Moreover, Speed Optimizer Guru is revealed to incorporate an adware module that would load advertisements from the Shefa Media Ltd. network in your Internet browser. The adware component to Speed Optimizer Guru may use banners, contextual and transitional ads and use tracking cookies. Also, the adware module mentioned before may present you with pop-up windows about security issues and urge you to install other PUPs. Security researchers point out that Speed Optimizer Guru usually has a 30-day trial period, and later it may notify users with messages in the tray area to urge them to buy its full version. As stated before, Speed Optimizer Guru executes behavioral marketing and will not optimize your system. You might wish to install a trusted anti-malware suite to address Speed Optimizer Guru and remove all of its files from your OS.
