PlusVid is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) generated by Kimahari Software Inc. The PlusVid browser extension may declare to make the quality of a computer user's YouTube and other video streaming websites better by configuring videos to the highest available quality. PlusVid may circulate and enter Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox Web browsers as an additional application packaged with free programs. Upon installation, the PlusVid plug-in may decrease the Web browser's performance and create and display non-stop commercial advertisements such as discount coupon ads, price comparison ads, pop-under/up ads, inline text, banner, or transitional ads. The plug-in of PlusVid may trace the computer user's Web browsing routine on all websites visited. The main purpose of PlusVid may be to gain benefit from clicks on obtrusive commercial ads.
