SmartPCFix is a fake system optimizer that generates nonexistent hard drive errors and system issues. SmartPCFix is delivered via Trojans and malicious websites. SmartPCFix also uses exploit kits to take over the affected computer system. SmartPCFix pretends to be a real system optimization and defragmentation tool; however, SmartPCFix has no capabilities of detecting and removing any type of PC problems. Once installed, SmartPCFix launches a bogus system scan and reports numerous critical hard drive and RAM errors. SmartPCFix also displays fake pop-up security alerts that notify victimized PC users about hard drive errors and system issues. False scan results and falsified warning messages are used in an attempt to scare the victim into believing that his/her computer is infected with numerous security threats, and other various computer problems have been found. Then, SmartPCFix urges computer users to buy the so-called full version of the software product to repair identified system errors and computer problems. Never purchase SmartPCFix because it is not able to detect and repair any type of system issues and PC problems. ESG's malware researchers highly recommend you to remove SmartPCFix by using a reputable anti-malware program.

Unfortunately, the Internet is becoming more and more like a section of the city where you are at risk of being mugged by the undesirable elements--stick-up and rip-off artists. You don't know who you can trust any more. When you are looking for help in rid your computer of an uninvited guest, you get offers from helpers who turn out to be as bad as, or worse than the first invited guest.

I'm wondering why those ever-resourceful attorneys who specialize in class action lawsuits aren't trolling the web, looking for business. These undesirable and often damaging popups are identifiable-and will take your money, if you wish to accommodate them, and refuse to leave your computer premises if you don't accommodate them. Doesn't this come under the heading of a public nuisance? If it doesn't, it should. Doesn't this kind of uninvited pop-up often do damage and cost you money for repairs?

Where are the attorneys when you need them?
