Smart Address Bar is a potentially unwanted application, which may alter a corrupted PC's settings and then start interrupting an attacked computer owner's search sessions by showing false search results. Smart Address Bar alters browser settings on all hacked Internet browsers that are installed on the affected PC without the victim's consent and awareness. Each time the hacked Internet browser is opened, Smart Address Bar reroutes the compromised PC user to search.smartaddressbar.com or smartaddressbar.com. Smart Address Bar is hard to find and uninstall by many anti-virus software from the infected computer system. Smart Address Bar can be installed as a free software product from the web. Smart Address Bar can also be downloaded inadvertently, together with other free applications. Smart Address Bar substitutes the default search engine and the homepage with search.smartaddressbar.com.
