Shamanul is adware that may be installed on the PC through exploits or other computer infections. Shamanul may come packed along with free software that computer users download from the Internet. Therefore, it is important that PC users pay attention to the license agreements and the installation steps when installing any free tools. If an installation window offers the PC user 'Custom' or 'Advanced' installation options, it is advised to select these as they may usually disclose what other third-party applications may also be installed and enable PC users to select them. If the license agreement or installation windows declare that they are going to install a toolbar or other unwanted adware such as Shamanul, it is recommended that the computer user cancel the installation and do not use the free program. Shamanul may show unwanted pop-up adverts and gather the PC user's confidential information to deliver advertisements relevant to his surfing habits.
