EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

Secure Search Pro is a browser extension that could act as a browser hijacker. If users accept the installation of the app, they may soon notice that several important settings of their web browsers have been drastically modified. Browser hijackers typically assume control over the browser's homepage, new tab page, and default search engine. The goal is to start generating artificial traffic toward a promoted web address. As a result, users could start experiencing frequent redirects to an unfamiliar website whenever they launch the affected browser, open a new tab, or try to search the Internet via the URL tab.
As is usually the case, Secure Search Pro promotes a fake search engine at 'securesearch.pro.' Fake engines are characterized by causing additional redirects to other search engines instead of performing the task themselves. Users could be presented with results from either Bing or Google. In the first case, securesearch.pro will cause a redirect chain going through my-search.com or trafficjunction.com before reaching bing.com. Alternatively, it will go through my-serach.com before showing results from google.com.
Keeping a browser hijacker, adware, or a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) installed on the device could lead to other risks as well. Many of these apps are capable of capturing information and transmitting it to their operators. Users may have their browsing activities constantly monitored. The obtained data may also include numerous device details or far more sensitive information extracted from browsers' autofill data. If the PUP is capable of accessing this information, it may be able to compromise users' account credentials, banking details, payment data, and more.
