Users who come across this scheme would see a fake prompt that would urge them to apply the latest update to their Flash Player. The bogus prompt would suggest that the user will not be able to view the content they were seeking unless they comply and install the update suggested to them. However, users who try to apply the suggested update would instead install the SearchVirtualInfo adware program on their Macs. If you have installed the SearchVirtualInfo application on your computer, you are likely to view numerous advertisements every time you try to visit a website – alerts, banners, pop-ups, hyperlinks, etc.
