SearchAdence is adware that can be installed onto PCs together with other free applications from the Web. SearchAdence may show annoying pop-up advertisements and messages, which carry coupons, offers and discounts, on the screen of the PC. SearchAdence may advice the PC user to check price comparisons on shopping related websites. The pop-up advertisements displayed by SearchAdence may encourage the PC user to click on random pop-up advertisements or advertisements pertaining to his browsing routine. If the PC user clicks on these pop-up ads, SearchAdence may forcibly reroute the computer user to unwanted websites. SearchAdence may promote questionable websites, products and services. SearchAdence may also gather information about the computer user's browsing routine, search phrases and visited websites. This data can be beneficial for showing targeted advertisements, especially, displaying pop-up ads linked to the PC user's surfing habits. SearchAdence may set the PC in danger of being contaminated with various security infections.
