Savings Shield is adware that may shows pop-up advertisements, offers, coupons, and sponsored links via a pop-up box on Amazon, Walmart, Ebay and other shopping websites that are visited by PC users. The pop-up advertisements of Savings Shield may be shown as boxes, which involve numerous coupons that are available or as underlined keywords, which when clicked may deliver a pop-up advertisement that claims it is sent to an attacked PC user by Savings Shield. Savings Shield is an add-on for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome that is may be usually embedded when the web user installs other free software products, such as video recording/streaming, download managers or PDF creators, that had packaged into their installation Savings Shield. When the web user installs these free software products, they may also install Savings Shield. When installed on the computer system, whenever the PC user will visit Best Buy, Expedia, Facebook or any other similar websites, Savings Shield may illustrate a 'See Similar' button on product images, which when clicked may show pop-up advertisements by Savings Shield. Savings Shield may also show advertising banners on the websites visited by PC users, and as they browse the web, Savings Shield may display coupons and other deals available on various websites.
