Savings Scout is an adware application that may display numerous annoying pop-up advertisements linked to coupons, discounts and other shopping offers while web users are surfing the Internet. Savings Scout was generated by 215 Apps, and can be embedded to all main web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. The messages shown by Savings Scout may appear very attractive as they promise good deals for purchasing certain products. If the web user clicks on any of these advertisements, he may immediately get rerouted to some unfamiliar advertisement websites, which can be very irritating especially if he clicks on the message accidentally. Savings Scout may trace information about what websites the computer is visiting, what are his online searches and similar details. Savings Scout may then send this information to fraudsters for marketing intentions. Savings Scout may be installed into targeted computer systems bundled together with freeware ands shareware applications. Savings Scout may come packed together with PDF creators, music players and other software products that are available for free on the net. PC users should always be attentive when installing such tools and always look what additional applications are packaged with the main program.
