Indeed, the site will generate several pop-ups containing various fake alerts and warnings, may pretend to be doing a scan for threats, or show an anti-virus interface belonging to popular security solutions. Saveprivatedata.com uses the name, brand, and logo of NortonLifeLock Inc. prominently, in an attempt to pass its fake alerts are legitimate warnings coming from the security vendor. Of course, the company has absolutely no connection to this rogue website and its attempts to earn illegitimate commission fees.
Users should keep in mind that Saveprivatedata.com also may try to convince them to subscribe to its push notifications. Untrustworthy websites such as this one will abuse the push notification feature to deliver unwanted ads promoting more unsafe destinations or intrusive PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs).
