EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

Rinkela is an adware, which may display annoying pop-up advertisements in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. The pop-up ads of Rinkela may be displayed regardless of the web browser or search engine, and if the PC user can see advertisements from Rinkela whenever he is making searches online in any legal search engine website or visits a particular commercial website, then the target PC may be corrupted by adware program or potentially unwanted applications. Rinkela may be produced by cybercriminals to generate advertising revenue from raised traffic of the specific commercial website and click fraud. Rinkela may raise website traffic, grab sales deals for other deceptive advertising websites, and deliver unwanted advertisements and messages containing sponsored links in the hijacked web browser. Rinkela may propagate through infected websites, or genuine websites that have been compromised and access the targeted computer surreptitiously. Rinkela may also propagate via malicious spam emails attachments or web-links to harmful websites. Rinkela may also be downloaded manually by tricking the computer user into thinking he is installing a valuable program. Rinkela may also circulate via peer-to-peer file sharing websites and is often packed with pirated or illegally downloaded applications.
