Reuse Tab

The Reuse Tab has been classified as an intrusive browser extension, that falls into the adware category. As such, despite describing itself as a useful tool that allows users to quickly revisit previously opened websites, the application's primary function appears to be the delivery of unwanted advertisements to users' computers. It should be noted that adware, browser hijackers, and other PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) may not exhibit all of their capabilities based on software incompatibility or certain factors, such as geolocation, IP address, device types and possibly more.

Users should always be careful when dealing with advertisements delivered by unproven or suspicious sources. Interacting carelessly with the advertisements could take users to shady destinations, such as adult-oriented platforms, fake giveaways, phishing schemes, portals spreading PUPs, etc.

The Reuse Tab also could possess data-tracking capabilities. While installed on the system, the application could monitor the user's browsing activities and transmit the collected data to its operators. PUPs also could collect numerous device details or even try to access sensitive information from the browser's autofill data. Typically, this includes confidential account credentials, banking details, credit/debit card numbers and more.
