ReportLady is an adware application that shows coupons, advertisements and sponsored links via a pop-up box on Facebook, Amazon, Google and other shopping websites that are visited by Internet users. ReportLady pop-up advertisements will be shown as boxes, which include numerous coupons that are available or as underlined keywords, which when clicked will display an advertisement that declares it comes to the computer user from ReportLady. ReportLady is produced specifically to generate profit. ReportLady boosts web traffic, grabs sales leads for other suspicious websites, and will show pop-up ads and sponsored links within the hijacked Internet browser. ReportLady technically is not a virus, but it carries numerous harmful features, such as rootkit functionalities that permit it to conceal itself deep into the affected computer system, browser hijacking, and in general just interfering with the attacked PC user's experience. ReportLady also points to a PUP, or potentially unwanted program. ReportLady is a browser add-on for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome that is commonly inserted when the PC user installs another free application (video recording/streaming, download-managers or PDF creators) that had packaged into their installation ReportLady. When the computer user installs these free applications, they will also install ReportLady.
