EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

Quick Defrag also known as QuickDefrag is from the same family of rogue system optimizers as HDD Tools. Trojans help distribute Quick Defrag and secretly install this rogue onto poorly protected computer systems. When inside a system, Quick Defrag will create a start-up registry entry and disable the firewall. Quick Defrag may also block a victim's access to security websites or from launching other applications in order to prevent its easy detection and removal.
Quick Defrag uses several scare tactics including the simulation of fake system scanners which are designed to automatically report the detection of errors in the system. These errors include the inability to identify the hard drive, dangerously high CPU temperatures and more. Quick Defrag will also launch fake pop-up warnings or alerts in order to coerce a victim into purchasing its full version which will apparently remove/repair all the detected errors. Quick Defrag is a useless application only created to swindle unsuspecting users. Don't fall for this scam and remove Quick Defrag from your PC as soon as you encounter it.
