Qqqr Ransomware

The Qqqr Ransomware is a powerful malware threat aiming to take the data of its victims as a hostage. Malware threats classified as ransomware are typically equipped with encryption routines that utilize military-grade cryptographic algorithms. Qqqr Ransomware's Demands

The ransom note left by Qqqr is virtually identical to the messages used by the other variants from this family. It states that affected users will need to pay a ransom of $980 if they want to receive the software tool and decryption key from the cybercriminals. However, if victims establish contact within the first 72 hours of the attack, the demanded ransom will be reduced by 50% to $490. As part of their messages, users also may send one encrypted file that the hackers promise to unlock and return absolutely for free, as a demonstration of their ability to revert all files to their original states.
