PWS-Zbot.Gen is a Trojan generated to steal confidential information from the affected PC. PWS-Zbot.Gen can steals financial account information such as online banking login details and account data. PWS-Zbot.Gen mainly propagates via spam emails but can also use auto run capabilities of removable media, or install itself on the targeted PC via a drive-by downloads when the computer user visits a hacked or infected website. Once installed on the compromised PC, PWS-Zbot.Gen connects to a command and control (C&C) server, controls the affected PC owner's Internet surfing activity and uploads stolen data.
