ProjectSauron APT is an advance persistent threat, which is fundamentally a targeted attack campaign that is run by a group of hackers wo look to home-in on certain businesses. Such targets of ProjectSauron APT may be attacked in ways that their business suffers and cannot overcome the attack in a prompt fashion. The hackers behind ProjectSauron APT know the vulnerabilities and are able to attack from different methods, not just the common ways through the Internet.
