Pro Acceleration of PC

The Pro Acceleration of PC application is likely a program that most users do not remember installing on their computers. This is a common occurrence when dealing with PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs). The creators of such products are well aware that the chances of users willingly downloading and installing their applications are extremely slim. That is why they turn to rather questionable distribution methods, such as software bundles and sometimes even outright fake installers/updates.

When fully deployed on the device, the PUP could display a specific primary function that is very rarely focused on serving the user. Instead, the application could act as adware, browser hijacker, data-tracker, rogue optimization application or a combination of intrusive features. PC Acceleration of PC could fall into the rogue optimization applications category. It may try to convince users that their computers are suffering from a multitude of serious issues, ranging from potentially harmful items to problems with the Registry causing slowdowns or freezes.

The problem with rogue applications is that there is a high chance that all of their displayed results are completely false and fabricated. Their role could be to simply convince users into buying a supposed paid tier of the application to fix all of the supposedly discovered problems with the device. However, as we said, PUPs also may start generating intrusive advertisements tasked with the promotion of dubious and untrustworthy sites or products. PUPs are often equipped with data-collecting routines, going after users' browser-related information or device details.
