Price Companion may typically come packaged together with free software that web users download from misleading download websites on the net. While being installed on the PC, Price Companion may show random pop-up advertisements and deals or ads and offers pertaining to the computer user's surfing habits. Price Companion may grab the PC user's personal data and transmit it to a remote server. Price Companion may also result in disturbing diversions on the web browser to questionable websites that were created to most likely increase web traffic and benefit from clicks on ads. Price Companion may hack all the web browsers installed on the PC and modify the default browser settings.
