Pcworksscanner.com shows a browser-based fraudulent message that tries to make you believe that an anti-virus (McAfee, Avira, or Norton) fast scan has found five viruses and that you need to update your anti-virus subscription to get rid of them. It does this to frighten you into buying an anti-virus license so that the fraudsters can earn a commission from the sale.
