The Open Browser program is part of the 'Open' franchise of Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) along with the Open Downloader Manager and the Open Software Updater. As mentioned earlier, the programs are designed to display marketing content in the user's web browser while providing limited functionality. The Open Browser app may provide you with finite online enhancements, and Open Browser may require you to tolerate an abundance of pop-up windows, contextual and transitional ads. The Open Browser program may collect non-personally identifiable data about your computer configuration, preferred web pages and time spent online in order to personalize the marketing content presented to you. You may encounter the Open Browser app accompanying freeware when you browse the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' option during the installation process. Many users may not welcome ads by Open Browser, and you might want to remove it from your PC by using a trustworthy anti-spyware tool.
