Onestoreblog.com

Onestoreblog.com is a mostly empty website, created with the purpose to proliferate a popular browser-based tactic. Pages of this type have become rather popular among unscrupulous people who release more and more almost daily. The scheme is rather simple. By showing deceptive or fake warnings and alert messages, the hoax website tries to lure its visitors into clicking the displayed 'Allow' button. Doing so will subscribe the unsuspecting user to that site's push notification services.

In practice, this will manifest in a massive increase in the adverts encountered during browsing, as the site will begin to run an intrusive ad campaign. The advertisements could employ similarly underhanded methods to lead the users to other untrustworthy third-party websites that might be running other tactics or phishing schemes.

The lure used by Onestoreblog.com is to pretend to be doing a CAPTCHA check. The site will display an image of a robot alongside a message similar to:

'Click Allow if you are not a robot'

To stop Onestoreblog.com and all similar pages from interfering with your browsing experience, you will need to revoke the permissions that have been granted to them. Typically, this can be achieved rather easily through the 'Permissions' or 'Notifications' menus of your browser's settings.
