The Nuow Ransomware is a malware threat designed to lock the data of its victims. To achieve its threatening purpose, the threat runs an encryption routine utilizing a military-grade cryptographic algorithm. If they receive a message within the first 72 hours, the cybercriminals state their willingness to reduce the size of the ransom by 50% to $490. Two email addresses are mentioned as potential ways to contact the hackers - 'support@fishmail.top' and 'datarestorehelp@airmail.cc.'
