EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:

Notadsnow.com is a deceptive Web page, whose sole purpose is to manipulate users into enabling its push notifications. Typically, this tactic operates via fake warnings or false clickbait messages. The deceptive page may pretend to be running a CAPTCHA check, promise users access to additional content, or that files will become available for download. No matter what the exact lure message says, it will always direct users towards pressing the 'Allow' button.
What the hoax page doesn't clearly reveal is that all users who follow the instructions will be enabling its push notification services. Due to the browser permissions associated with this otherwise legitimate feature, the dubious page will be able to run an intrusive ad campaign, severely impacting the browsing experience on the device.
More importantly, the advertisements it delivers should be treated as being equally untrustworthy. Indeed, it is more than likely that the unwanted advertisements would be promoting more sites of this type, phishing schemes, fake giveaways, shady online betting platforms, etc. Users also may be presented with offers to download annoying PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) posing as seemingly official applications.
