Nfgmyassion.top is a con website that follows the countless other virtually indistinguishable from its pages that have already been put on the Internet. They all follow a simple yet quite deceptive plan - by showing misleading alerts or warning messages, the pages try to trick their visitors into unknowingly subscribing to their push notification services. The dubious sites can pretend that a video can be accessed or a supposed file can be downloaded only after clicking the 'Allow' button.

The most widespread scam scenario, however, and the one employed by Nfgmyassion.top is to act as if conducting a CAPTCHA check for bots. Visitors will be shown an image containing robots accompanied by one or more messages similar to:

If successful, Nfgmyassion.top will receive the browser permissions it needs to start running an intrusive advertising campaign and generating monetary gains for its creators in the process.

Affected users could be presented with numerous dubious ads that may lead to unsafe third-party websites. Users may find themselves taken to phishing pages, other online hoax sites, domains promoting barely-functional PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs), and other similarly untrustworthy places.
