Newzio is a Potentially Unwanted Program. Although Newzio is marketed as a useful Web browser extension, Newzio creates income by exposing computer users to unsafe marketing content and a large quantity of irritating advertisements. Newzio is typically distributed by bundling Newzio with free software downloads. However, PC users themselves may download Newzio or Newzio may be delivered using typical threat distribution techniques such as the use of attack websites or social engineering tactics. It is important to note that any supposed benefits claimed by the developers of Newzio are far outweighed by the many unwanted symptoms that Newzio causes on a computer. It is of a great significance to remember that the main purpose of Newzio is to make money from advertising by taking advantage of inexperienced computer users.
