EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

MyADBlocksSearch is what researchers call a browser hijacker, based on what it does once it has settled into your PC. The tool serves to tout the myadblocks.com search engine. If your eyes have never seen it, chances are it is not popular enough. Guess what? It isn't. Yet, it becomes your new default homepage and search engine, whether you like it or not.
To do so, MyADBlocksSearch modifies your browser settings without your knowledge so that it may promote freely the websites it has been paid to promote. If you happen to land on the myadblocks.com Web page, you will be redirected to nearbyme.io or even search.yahoo.com. Either way, each one of your search queries will result in a list of matching results dominated by sponsored links, and the latter will show up on top of everything else.
While the MyADBlocksSearch tool reportedly contains no threatening code whatsoever, its browser tracking capabilities, browser settings modifications, and an endless array of online advertisements raise concerns about how safe it is. If you've installed a software bundle containing one or two pieces of software you've wanted recently, chances are that MyADBlocksSearch may have shown up as a drive-by download in such a package. To avoid unwanted guests on your computer, always download stuff from official sources rather than third-party software downloaders.
