EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

The musicFriendly Search browser extension is published by a team of developers at hxxp://www.friendlyappz[.]com who are believed to be employed by eAnswers.com, which offers search services and aggregated news. The musicFriendly Search extension is promoted to help users find quality music online via a personalized search engine and a new tab page. The musicFriendly Search extension is published as a free program that you can integrate into Google Chrome. You should note that the musicFriendly Search program is an ad-supported product designed to change your new tab to hxxp://music.eanswers[.]com and redirect you to:
hxxps://search.yahoo[.]com/yhs/search?hspart=iba&hsimp=yhs-1&type=rjs996_0_OTW_A1&p=[search terms]
The link above points to a customized version of Yahoo, but eAnswers.com collects information like your input on hxxp://music.eanswers[.]com and you are shown notifications about promotional content in your browser. The musicFriendly Search is a renamed version of the songsFriendly Search extension by hxxp://www.friendlyappz[.]com, which offered the same new tab and search options. Both apps are seen as clones of the SongsCenter Search by Playmediacenter.com. All three products are programmed to send Web traffic to hxxp://music.eanswers[.]com and redirect Web surfers to Yahoo, as well as send usage data to eAnswers.com. We have been following platforms such as bettersearchtools.com, playmediacenter.com myappline.com, cantstopplaying.com, njoyapps.com, mixplugin.com, medianetnow.com, and a few others for quite awhile. These sites offer identical browser extensions but use slightly different names. The musicFriendly Search extension is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that you may be directed to download from Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/musicfriendly-search/licddjjajcjniaaelghloohkdiephfih. If you add musicFriendly Search to Chrome, don't be surprised to find marketing materials on your new tab and yourself redirected to Yahoo.
