EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

Messagereceiver.com exists solely to perform a browser-based tactic. The page lack any meaningful content or any other useful characteristic. Instead, it is focused solely on displaying various clickbait and manipulative messages in an attempt to lure users into unknowingly enabling its push notification.
Hoax websites of this type are most commonly observed to imitate running a CAPTCHA check. Users will be greeted with messages claiming that to proceed, they must click the 'Allow' button as a way to prove that they are not bots. Messagereceiver.com has been observed utilizing a different but equally as fake scenario. The site will prominently present a message stating:
'Click 'Allow' To Download'
Of course, it is not specified which file exactly will the users download, as it most likely doesn't exist on the site.
If Messagereceiver.com's ruse is successful, the site will receive the required browser permissions to start running an intrusive ad campaign. Users must be extremely careful when dealing with the presented advertisements. Typically, these advertisements will promote additional con websites, pages using fake scare tactics, claiming that the user's device is infected with multiple malware threats. Users also may be taken to dubious surveys that are part of phishing schemes, fake giveaways, or pages promoting intrusive PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs).
