JavaPlayer.info is a questionable website that may show a bogus pop-up warning message 'Update the latest Java version - IMPORTANT!' on the desktop of the PC while computer users are surfing the Internet. The bogus pop-up warning message on JavaPlayer.info may be shown by adware that may circulate and enter the PC while computer users are downloading free applications from suspicious download websites. The fake pop-up alert displayed on JavaPlayer.info declares that 'Your Java version is out of date', and the computer user needs to download some critical security update. The notification of JavaPlayer.info also gives the computer user instructions on 'Why is it important to upgrade to the latest version'. In actuality, this alert has nothing to do with the PC user's Java application. The fake Java warning message was generated to probably deliver adware and other potentially unwanted applications. When the PC user clicks on the 'Run Update' button of JavaPlayer.info thinking that he will download an update, he may, in actuality, agree to install a potentially unwanted application or adware.
