HEUR:Trojan.OSX.Vsrch.a is a Trojan infection that can enter a computer through corrupted websites, freeware or email attachments. Once inside the computer, HEUR:Trojan.OSX.Vsrch.a's files will be installed in the %Temp% directory, but what the computer user will see is executable files with names made to look like they're part of legitimate applications. Then, HEUR:Trojan.OSX.Vsrch.a will interfere with all security-related programs and services and create a registry entry that allows HEUR:Trojan.OSX.Vsrch.a to load automatically. HEUR:Trojan.OSX.Vsrch.a uses a great amount of system resources, which makes the machine perform poorly.
