The HealthMillions browser add-on is advertised on Healthmillions.com and freeware bundles as the perfect program to help you bring energy and healthy food into your life, as well as discover places to go on a vacation. Also, the HealthMillions browser add-on is said to provide users with links to online stores that offer catering services for healthy food that is perfect for office workers with little time to cook at home. Many users that wish to be more active and build their confidence through physical exercises may want to install the HealthMillions browser add-on. However, the HealthMillions application is created and managed by the infamous Informer Technologies, Inc. and is considered to be adware. Security analysts suspect that the HealthMillions adware is a hybrid between the Healthy Days Hub and Diet Interactive adware and may welcome users to complete an extensive survey regarding their habits, hobbies, and shopping preferences to generate tailor-suited ads and claim affiliate marketing revenue.
The HealthMillions adware may use CSS-styles and JavaScript to alter the appearance of online stores like Amazon, Vitacost.com, and Realfoods.co.uk to load advertisements from sponsors only. Additionally, the HealthMillions adware may change your start page and new tab page settings to place promotional materials on the first page you open with your Web browser. Security analysts note that the HealthMillions adware may run as a portable program to avoid being detected and may change the values of keys in your Windows Registry to start with Windows. The main process of the HealthMillions adware may not be visible in the Windows Task Manager and may be listed as a separate thread under the svchost.exe host process. The HealthMillions adware may install its files in the ProgramData directory that is a system folder and is hidden on the Windows drive. The HealthMillions adware may cover your screen with pop-ups and ad-boxes that do not have a close button and stay on your desktop for a set period. The activity of the HealthMillions adware may be annoying and disrupt full-screen Web apps. Computer users that are experiencing problems with the HealthMillions adware should install a reliable anti-spyware instrument to delete all components of the HealthMillions adware.
