Hacktool.ARPSpoofer.A is a computer threat that can surreptitiously run in the background of a system. On infiltration of a system, Hacktool.ARPSpoofer.A will perform Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) poisoning. The poisoning is a form of attack used on Ethernet networks; it enables hackers to sniff data frames on the Local Area Network. Hacktool.ARPSpoofer.A will also monitor the data frames in search of information that the hacker can exploit before sending the data frames to the intended recipients.
