Gooddaywith-captcha.top is a deceptive website, created to deliver unwanted advertisements and cause unauthorized redirects to other, similarly dubious destinations. To achieve its intrusive goals, the page utilizes a popular browser-based tactic. Users that land on Gooddaywith-captcha.top will be greeted with manipulative clickbait messages that will attempt to convince them into clicking the 'Allow' button.
However, what the site will not state, is that those who click the button will be subscribed to its push notification services. Instead, the page will try to pass that clicking 'Allow' is part of a CAPTCHA check. Of course, this is just a ruse, as there is no check as part of the site's functionality. Pressing the button also could trigger redirects to additional questionable sites. Indeed, infosec researchers have observed Gooddaywith-captcha.com leading users to an untrustworthy page running a variation of the 'Amazon Loyalty Program' scheme.
Users should try to avoid interacting with the advertisements associated with the page. These advertisements could utilize similar social engineering methods to promote tactics, phishing schemes, fake giveaways, etc. Users also are likely to encounter offers to install and try out applications described as useful companions in today's hectic life. Unfortunately, the promoted applications are almost always intrusive PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) equipped with adware, browser hijacker, and data-tracking capabilities.
