Gibmedia

Gibmedia is an advertising program that may be a risk to a victim's privacy. Gibmedia can be obtained via unsolicited e-mails or it can come bundled with other harmful malware. Gibmedia is able to gather sensitive internet related information and send it to a remote third party that may use the information for fraudulent activities. Gibmedia may also cause an infected system to slow down in speed therefore it should be uninstalled promptly after detection.
