Fortpush.com is a website solely created to impose push notifications on any PC user who happens to land on its page. How you may arrive at fortpush’s page depends on where you've clicked beforehand. Chances are, you may have checked out a Web pop-up or a nice-looking banner that has redirected you to this page.
While fortpush.com is not inherently unsafe, it may push its notifications a bit too much, turning your Web browsing time into a fairly annoying experience. What is more, some of those notifications may lead you to malware-laden websites disguised as webshops, social media, multimedia streaming platforms, etc. In short, you may accept getting fortpush’s advertisements, but you have no way of knowing where they will take you to beforehand, and that's what raises some concerns.
Fortpush.com shows up out of nowhere. You have probably landed on its page without typing it in your browser at all. If so, it’ll keep churning out one ad after another, with or without your consent. That intrusive behavior alone distinguishes it from legitimate adware tools, whose job is just about the same, albeit much better laid out.
If fortpush’s notifications interfere with your browsing experience, you should take measures to make sure it no longer shows up on your screen. For a start, you may need to remove any unknown add-ons and extensions on your Web browsers since fortpush.com may have come via one of them. Should that fail to work, you may need to reset your browsers to their factory settings. Last but not least, a complete system scan by a robust anti-malware scanner will finish it off.
