The FL Player software that users may be offered to install along with free programs may claim to boost their video rendering capabilities on platforms like YouTube, but is adware. The FL Player adware may claim to bring advanced processing features to the Adobe Flash Player, but it might use it to place virtual layers over pages you browse. These layers may redirect you to sponsored websites when you try to click on the content beneath. The FL Player adware may use pop-up and pop-under windows to welcome you to install software like RambleRoam and WebProtect that might cause your browser to crash. Computer users are advised not to install programs that are promoted by adware such as FL Player and Extended Update to avoid damaging to their Windows OS. Moreover, the FL Player adware may make changes to your Windows Registry to divert your search operations to search engines like QueryService.net that is associated with a browser hijacker and may provide links to harmful domains.
