FlippyRoo is adware that may cover a screen of a computer system with a variety of annoying pop-up advertisements and messages while the PC user is surfing the Internet. FlippyRoo can install itself on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. When FlippyRoo invades the computer system, it may show unwanted pop-up ads and banners while the PC user is visiting online shopping and other websites. If the computer user clicks on any random pop-up ads and banners, he may get unwillingly diverted to suspicious websites. The main purpose of FlippyRoo may be to raise traffic of questionable websites that may display unwanted pop-up advertisements with the goal to make a profit from clicks on ads. FlippyRoo may penetrate into the PC packed with other free apps. Computer users may evade the download of FlippyRoo if they are attentive enough while installing other free programs and unmarking all options offering to install extra unidentified tools. However, many computer users may often skip the installation steps because of a rush. FlippyRoo may grab information about the PC user's surfing routine and may then transmit this data to the third parties and use it for various targeted advertising purposes.
