EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

The Findsmartresults.com website may create the impression that it exists to help users achieve better and more accurate results when searching the Web. However, after analyzing it, researchers discovered that the page belongs to a dubious search engine that delivers low-quality results, which may include numerous sponsored advertisements. The included promoted links may not even be relevant to the terms of the user's search query. Findsmartresults.com appears to be almost completely identical to another similarly shady search engine known as Smartanswersoinline.com.
Search engines of this type are often promoted via questionable methods, including intrusive browser hijacker apps. Findsmartresults.com is not an exception. The related application modifies browsers' settings (homepage, new tab page and default search engine) and sets them to now open the sponsored page. As a consequence, users will be redirected to the unfamiliar search engine every time they launch the affected browser, open a new tab or attempt to conduct a search via the URL bar.
Unfortunately, having a PUP active on the computer or device may lead to additional risks. These annoying applications may establish persistence mechanisms, making their manual removal far more difficult. They also could prevent users from changing the affected browser settings back to their original state. PUPs are also infamous for often possessing data-tracking capabilities. They may monitor users' browsing activities, harvest device details, or attempt to extract account credentials and banking/payment information from browsers' autofill data.
