The FilmsApp Home program from Superappbox.com is another ad-supported browser extension linked to the Movie.eanswers.com redirect-gateway we have mentioned in the past. The FilmsApp Home browser extension is a new version of the nJoy Movies Search and the StreamJunkie Search, which are published via Theappjunkies.com and Njoyapps.com. All the extensions and sites mentioned before share almost identical appearance, the apps perform the same and reroute users to Movie.eanswers.com, which then redirects users to a customized version of Yahoo at:
Search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?hspart=iba&hsimp=yhs-1&type=fphm_6217_CHW_EN&p=[KEYWORD]
The long URL represents a direct link to a modified Yahoo engine. The FilmsApp Home browser extension is designed to change the new tab page in Google Chrome to Movie.eanswers.com that includes a search bar, which opens a new tab with the link posted above. The FilmsApp Home extension is categorized as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that is responsible for redirects to Search.yahoo.com and changing the new tab page in Google Chrome. The FilmsApp Home extension can be found on the Chrome Web Store at:
