EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:

Filmedia presents itself to users as a convenient browser extension. The application is supposed to help users find the best streaming service for a movie they would like to watch. Unfortunately, as it becomes obvious rather quickly after installing it, Filmedia also is intrusive adware tasked with the delivery of unwanted and annoying advertisements to the user's device.
On the surface level, the suddenly-appearing advertisements could only seem like a mild inconvenience, However, their presence could severely diminish the user experience on the affected device. More importantly, the advertisements themselves could be used as promotional channels for dubious destinations, such as hoax websites, fake giveaways, shady adult-oriented platforms and more. Users also could be presented with advertisements for PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) disguised as seemingly legitimate software tools. PUPs are invasive applications that are often equipped with adware, browser hijacker, and data tracking capabilities.
Indeed, it is entirely possible for Filmedia to be silently tracking users' browsing activities. The information targeted by the application may include the entire browsing history, searches, clicked URLs and more. However, some PUPs also harvest device details or try to extract account credentials and banking/payment details from browsers' autofill data.
