FastestFox is adware that may invade a computer system without a PC user's authorization. When FastestFox penetrates into the PC, it may change system settings and drop related components on all web browsers installed on the computer. When the PC user starts using Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or other well-known web browsers, FastestFox may start displaying random pop-up ads and underlined words. FastestFox may also lead to annoying diversions to questionable websites that were designed to possibly make a profit from clicks on advertisements and increased traffic of a suspicious website. FastestFox may not ask the PC user to download it manually because it may easily enter the computer through packaged free applications. When installed on the PC and run, FastestFox may add an unwanted plug-in, extension or add-on on all web browser and also substitute the default homepage and search tool or a new tab page with an unreliable website.
