FakeAlert-SecurityTool.z is a Trojan infection associated with the rogue security software Security Tool. Once FakeAlert-SecurityTool.z has secretly entered a user's computer, it will generate fake security alerts claiming that the system is infected and prompting the user to purchase the rogueware. FakeAlert-SecurityTool.z will also corrupt system files and modify the registry causing the system to deteriorate in performance.
