Users who press the button will allow the site to run an intrusive advertising campaign. The unwanted advertisements could impact the browsing experience on the device severely and may continue to appear even if the affected browser itself has been completely shut down. Furthermore, the generated advertisements could easily employ the same deceptive tactics to lead users to other suspicious sites that might be running online tactics, phishing schemes, spreading PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) or even malware threats.
