The EnjoyWiFi software may be installed on your computer if you have installed a free software package using the 'Express' and 'Standard' option recently. The EnjoyWiFi program was reported to arrive on computers and run in the system background without bringing up any notifications whatsoever. The EnjoyWiFi desktop app may be promoted to PC users as a tool for finding WiFi networks in the vicinity, boosting your Internet speed, and allowing you to connect to secure networks. The EnjoyWiFi desktop may enable users to benefit from a radar-like interface and connect to available WiFi networks, but you may want to know that the app lacks a page on the Internet and may collect information on your online activity.

Reports from computer security researchers stated that the app features a minimalistic design and offers access to parameters like the temperature of your CPU (processor), GPU (graphics card) and hard disk. Additionally, the EnjoyWiFi program may help users share their cable Internet connection with wireless devices, as long as your computer is equipped with a wireless adapter. The EnjoyWiFi software does not include a valid digital signature, and there is little to no information on who created the app. It is possible for the EnjoyWiFi developer to use the app and collect information on the data transmissions sent via connections managed by EnjoyWiFi. Wireless devices that communicate via channels managed by EnjoyWiFi may be vulnerable to attacks from third parties. IOT (Internet of Things) devices are infamous for keeping up with the latest security patches and an app like EnjoyWiFi may be leveraged in compromising networks that are not connected to the Web directly.

The lack of adequate representation on the Internet, no developer contact, and questionable distribution method are reasons for cyber security researchers to tag the EnjoyWiFi app as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The EnjoyWiFi desktop app might be seen by some as a security vulnerability, which could be exploited by interested parties. Educated computer users who might be familiar with the Free WiFi Hotspot and the Hostify software we covered earlier might not appreciate EnjoyWiFi and mystery surrounding its inception. You can remove the EnjoyWiFi desktop app and check if there are unwanted network adapters installed on the system with the help of a trustworthy anti-malware utility.
