EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

Users that prefer to install freeware programs via the 'Express' or 'Typical' option may change their default Internet browser to eFast Browser. The eFast Browser is developed by ClaraLabs S.A. that developed the Unico Browser and the Tortuga Browser. The last two Web browsers mentioned before are deemed as Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) that exhibit adware characteristics and the eFast Browser is not much different. The eFast Browser is a custom build of the open-source project Chromium that Google uses for Google Chrome. The eFast Browser uses a logo that is colored the same way as the Google logo and features a design that is similar to the one of Google Chrome. Some users may mistake the eFast Browser for its competitor, but they should not expect the same quality of service as seen with Google Chrome. Web surfers that employ the services of the eFast Browser cannot install an ad-blocker because advertisers support the eFast Browser. Therefore, eFast Browser is classified as a PUP that may send usage statistics like your Internet browsing history, download history, recently entered search terms on Google and Bing to advertisers for analysis and market development purposes. Moreover, the eFast Browser may present users with numerous pop-up and pop-under windows, banners, discounts and coupons when they visit e-commerce portals like Walmart, eBay, Best Buy and Amazon. The eFast Browser might not render HD video properly and lack security updates. Therefore, your cyber safety with the eFast Browser is not guaranteed, and you might be redirected to untrusted websites. You can remove all files of the eFast Browser by using a credible anti-malware utility.
