Diamondata is a potentially unwanted program, which is categorized as an adware program. Diamondata may be used by cybercriminals to display various pop-up ads, coupons, banners and similar offers. Diamondata may usually be installed on the affected computer without the target PC user's permission. Cybercriminals may use the tricky technique to install Diamondata onto the vulnerable computer system without easily noticing it. Diamondata may replace the default homepage and search engine with some advertising website, or open the certain website in a new tab window. Annoying pop-up advertisements from Diamondata may show up every time the PC user browses any online shopping websites. Diamondata affects Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome by showing disturbing pop-up advertisements, which specify that they are sent to the computer user by Diamondata.
